CZ purlin roll forming machine
Our C/Z interchangeable purlin roll forming machine is designed to produce both C-shaped and Z-shaped steel purlins on a single production line, with a quick manual or automatic changeover between the two profiles. It processes hot-dip galvanized steel coils (and pre-painted color steel) into precision purlins used as the secondary support structure in steel-framed buildings.
With a robust welded-steel frame, hydraulic punching & cutting, and a full PLC + touch-screen control system, this machine delivers stable, high-speed, low-labor production — ideal for steel fabricators, construction material suppliers, and pre-engineered building (PEB) companies across South Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa.

Key Features
• C/Z interchangeable design — one machine produces both C and Z purlins; profile changeover in ~10–30 minutes.
• Full automatic operation — coil feeding → roll forming → hydraulic punching → automatic length measurement → hydraulic cutting → output table, all controlled by PLC.
• Wide size range — C80–300mm and Z100–300mm adjustable by changing spacers / adjusting bolts.
• Hydraulic punching system — automatic pre-punching of bolt holes (web holes) before cutting, no secondary drilling needed.
• Servo / encoder length control — high cutting accuracy (±0.5 mm), no material waste on fixed-length cutting.
• Heavy-duty roll shafts — Ø70–Ø90 mm polished 45# steel shafts for stable, vibration-free forming.
• Roller material — GCr15 bearing steel rollers, hardened and polished for long service life.
• User-friendly touch screen — set length, piece count and hole pattern on the HMI; English interface standard.
• Safety guarding & emergency stop — meets CE-style safety standards on request.
• Export packaging — whole machine loaded in a 40HQ container, ready for sea freight to Durban / Cape Town / Port Elizabeth.
